My Background
I have been teaching for 17 years. My degrees include a bachelor of science in zoology, a bachelor of science in science education, and a masters in secondary science education. I have experience teaching biology, AP biology, AP environmental science, physics, physical science, and earth science.
Researching nesting hawksbill sea turtles with the National Park Service on Buck Island.
Hawksbills and many other sea turtles are on the endangered species list and normally should not be touched. In this photo, I was volunteering with the NPS and therefore had permission to work with the nesting turtles for research purposes.
